Asahiyama Zoo

Asahiyama Zoo (旭山動物園, Asahiyama Dōbutsuen) is a very popular zoological garden just outside of central Asahikawa City in the middle of Hokkaido.

From the number 6 bus platform in front of the east exit of Asahikawa Station, take the Asahikawa Denkikido Bus (Asahiyama Zoo Line, numbers 41, 42 and 47) which runs every 30 minutes.

It takes about 40 minetes.
