Toyako Onsen

Toyako Onsen has continued to run for 100 years as a hot spring resort in an area that is valuable worldwide.

It was born from the eruption of Yosomiyama that is a parasite volcano of Mount Usu in 1910.

 

 

From around late April to the end of October there is a popular event known as the Lake Toya Long Run Fireworks Display where fireworks are sent up from a boat on the lake each night for about 20 minutes from 20:45, and can be seen from guest rooms and outdoor baths in the hot spring town.
