Golden Road

This approximately 33 km stretch of road is called Ogon (Golden) Road, and runs from Shoya, Erimo to Hiroo, Hiroo on National Route 337 headed towards Obihiro from Cape Erimo.

The name apparently originates in the great construction cost of the road.
