Hoso-oka Observatory and Visitor’s Lounge

It is an observation deck located in the east of the Kushiro Wetland National Park, where meandering of Kushiro River and spread of marshlands can be wished for Cape Cape Miyajima and Cape Kirakotan in the back.

The observatory is located about 20 minutes on foot from JR Kushiro Shitsugen Station.
This is also a popular spot to observe the sunset.
