Cape Benkei

Height pedestal 1 m 40 cm, main body 3 m 60 cm.

In the legend of this land, Minamoto no yoshitsune and Benkei who was a follower escaped from hardship in Tohoku came to live in this land.
It is said that upon hearing reinforcements would come, Benkei waited at the point of the cape everyday, and it is said that the cape came to be known as Benkei Cape for this reason.

It is also known as a spectacular sight of the sunset.
