The last battle of the Edo shogunate, Boshin War curtains the battle of Goryokaku Hakodate, but Enomoto Takeaki, who led the former shogunate army, emigrated to Hokkaido and declared an independent nation.

The landing site is in Mori Town.

It is known as the place where the Former Shogunate Army Enomoto Takeaki and Hijikata Toshizo.
