Nopporo Shinrin Kouen Prefectural Natural Park

This park is located about one hour's drive by car from the center of Sapporo. You can see forest, plants and animals all at once. The park also has the 100th anniversary Memorial Tower which was established as the memorial of 100th year after the reclamation of Hokkaido. Historical Village of Hokkaido which displays historical buildings in an open space and Hokkaido Museum which introduces Hokkaido's nature, history and culture is also located in this park. You can experience and learn about the nature of Hokkaido.
