A floating island is a mass of floating aquatic plants, mud, and peat ranging in thickness from several centimetres to a few metres.
It is a high marsh with 850 meters above sea level and an area of about 700 hectares, with swamps of various sizes dotted.
Some of they have this name because there is a Floating island made by the marsh grass roots.
